Alzheimer's is a progressive brain disease that destroys memory as well as some other brain functions. On a cellular level, Alzheimer's disease is thought to be caused by the abnormal build-up of proteins in and around brain cells. According to Alz.org, Alzheimer's will kill 1 in 3 seniors. Alzheimer's disease deaths have doubled over the past two decades. Although Alzheimer's mainly affects seniors mostly you as a young person can prevent your risk of getting Alzheimer's well into your seniors by maintaining physical activity, treating high blood pressure, learning more often, and exercising the brain to name just a few. But for now, all you should be worried about in regard to your brain should be studying and learning!
